Construction Defect Paralegal

The statewide defense firm of Cole, Scott & Kissane is seeking a defense litigation paralegal with 5+ years of recent defense litigation experience to work in the Fort Lauderdale West (Plantation) office. This is a full‑time in‑office position, 5 days a week. Responsibilities Prepare discovery responses and objections. Summarize medical and other types of records. Create medical chronologies. Assist with large document production. Use Adobe/Abbyy for electronic production issues. Capture time and bill according to client guidelines using billing software. Utilize case‑management systems such as Imanage and Litify. Maneuver multiple deadlines under pressure and maintain a good attendance record. Qualifications 5+ years of recent defense litigation experience. Certified paralegal through a recognized program, NALA or Florida Registered. Proficient with L&A codes and billing software. Experience with electronic production tools (Adobe/Abbyy). Detail‑oriented and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
