Senior Billing Specialist

Overview Coda Search is partnering with an award-winning, nationally recognized law firm that is experiencing exceptional growth. The firm is seeking a senior billing specialist who will play a crucial role in managing the firm's day-to-day billing operations, partnering closely with attorneys and firm leadership. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-performing environment where attention to detail and strong communication are essential. You will oversee billing processes, prepare customized reports, and work closely with the attorneys and partners. Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities Collaborate with attorneys and partners to manage and process client bills efficiently and accurately. Review and verify billable time and expenses, ensuring alignment with client guidelines. Maintain and update the firm's billing system, including client information and billing rates. Monitor and manage unbilled items and accounts receivable reports. Prepare comprehensive client account summaries on a monthly basis. Address and resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies directly with attorneys and clients. Generate and distribute billing reports for attorney review, ensuring all procedures comply with firm-wide standards. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree is required. Minimum of 4 years of billing experience, preferably within a law firm. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with expertise in vlookups and pivot tables. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with attorneys and clients.
