Your future role at a glance Location: Austin, Texas Facility: Dell Seton Medical Center Specialty: Acute Care Rehabilitation Schedule: PRN | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM #NextGenHealthcare How you'll make an impact in this role Evaluate patient mobility upon admission to design personalized care plans that encourage early movement and steady recovery. Deliver targeted therapeutic care to help patients rebuild strength, regain independence and prepare for safe discharge. Partner with physicians, nurses and care teams to align on goals and ensure smooth care transitions. Guide therapy assistants, students and support staff to uphold high safety standards and deliver quality care. What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
