Tax Compliance Manager

Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 7 years of tax experience within an enterprise corporation or public accounting firm. Experience with ASC 740, IAS 12 and IFRS. Strong technical knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local tax guidance. Experience preparing or reviewing income tax provisions, tax filings, reconciliations, and tax reporting. Ability to oversee and develop a Senior Tax Analyst or similar direct report. Strong executive-level communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with C-suite leaders, JV shareholders, management, and external auditors.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. CPA certification. Partnership taxation experience. Experience managing government grants, incentives, and tax credits. Experience with transfer pricing and arm's-length transaction requirements. Proficiency with tax and income-tax accounting software. Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and judgment skills. Experience within the automotive, manufacturing, energy, or battery industry.

Job Description: Lead all tax compliance, reporting, and provision activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to SEC, IFRS, and applicable tax regulations. Manage federal, state, local, and indirect tax filings while partnering with external firms on annual tax returns. Oversee company grants, incentives, tax credits, and transfer pricing initiatives to support overall tax strategy. Partner with Accounting, Tax Affairs, auditors, and shareholder teams on technical tax matters, reporting, and tax positions. Prepare tax disclosures, forecasts, budgets, and other internal/external tax reporting requirements. Maintain strong tax controls, mitigate tax risk, oversee account reconciliations, and drive process improvements.
