Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Bilingual Float to join our team in Suffern, NY (Rockland/Westchester County).Needs to be able to travel to the following cities: Suffern, Nanuet, Pomona, & New CityNeeds to be able to travel & provide coverage when required: New Rochelle & YonkersWork Schedule: Monday – Friday, as early as 6:30am and as late as 4:30pm, rotating Saturdays, as early as 7am and as late as 2pm.Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED or equivalentPhlebotomy certification or a completed training program from an accredited agency1 year or more of active phlebotomy experienceBilingual in English and SpanishAdditional Job Standards:Proven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication (listening, verbal, and written)Ability to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testValid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportationBe at least 21 years oldAt Labcorp, we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. If you like variety, this role is perfect for you!Pay Range: $16.07/hour to $27.77/hourPhlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metricsFloat Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursementBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
