ServiceNow ITSM Integration SME

Key Responsibilities

Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ServiceNow ITSM integrations.

Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications.

Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, webhooks, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.

Configure and support IntegrationHub spokes, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP integrations, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.

Integrate ServiceNow ITSM with monitoring, event management, CMDB, asset management, identity, cloud, and other enterprise platforms.

Support integrations for Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Configuration Management processes.

Analyze integration requirements and define appropriate integration architecture and data flows.

Map data fields between ServiceNow and external applications.

Configure authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, basic authentication, certificates, and API keys.

Troubleshoot integration failures, data synchronization issues, API errors, and performance problems.

Monitor integration health and proactively identify and resolve recurring failures.

Work with application and infrastructure teams to investigate and resolve integration issues.

Develop technical specifications, integration design documents, interface mapping documents, and support procedures.

Lead integration testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production implementation activities.

Support ServiceNow upgrades and ensure existing integrations remain compatible.

Review integration designs and provide technical guidance to ServiceNow developers and support teams.

Ensure integrations follow ServiceNow best practices, security standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines.

Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities related to integrations.

Provide L3 support for complex integration-related issues.

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM.

Strong knowledge of ServiceNow integration capabilities.

Import Sets
Transform Maps
Scripted REST APIs

Salary Range- $95,000-$120,000 a year
