Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a HSE Coordinator in the Saline, MI area. This is a direct hire role where you will need previous experience within the industrial / manufacturing plant space with strong emphasis in handling auditing as well as experience handling work comp claims.

Location: Saline, MI
Pay: $85-$95K DOE

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Associates degree within Engineering or Environmental, Health and Safety OR similar focus
Professional Safety Certifications
Minimum of 1 year of Work Comp experience
Auditing experience
Management Systems Experience

Responsibilities Include :

Assist HSE Manager
Monitoring of legal compliance/management of site relations with local government and regulatory organizations
Communicate safety and environmental policies and coach and support the site employees.
Supervise first aid and local medical care procedures as well as coordinate emergency actions and handle initial accident inquiries
Monitor and stay on top of all WC claims
Handle work instructions for PPE usage and safety protocols as well as ordering of supplies
Support the reporting of legal, insurance and other HSE indicators lost time, medical treatment, first aid and Near Miss, Audit results, environmental data
Oversee continuous improvement ideas
