Respiratory Care Practitioner - Respiratory Therapy

Description Under supervision the Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients at Providence Centralia Hospital as prescribed by physicians in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. Responsible for assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. Implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. Assesses, analyzes, customizes, coordinates and communicates the patient's plan of care and actively collaborates with other members of the health care team. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree - Respiratory Care or equivalent education/experience. Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Provider PALS - American Heart Association upon hire. 1 year - clinical experience as Respiratory Therapist. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined on the basis of relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
