**Werko Machine Company Office Manager Job Description****Job Title:** Office ManagerLocation: Pennsauken, NJReports To: PresidentEmployment Type: Full-Time**Job Summary**We are seeking a skilled Office Manager to join our precision machine shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing orders from entry to completion, maintaining vendor + customer relationships and supporting HR administrative tasks. A background in the manufacturing industry is preferred.**Key Responsibilities**Manage day-to-day office operations including scheduling, correspondence, office supplies orders and front-desk functionsProcess and track customer orders, work orders, and job travelers from intake through deliveryCoordinate with shop floor supervisors to communicate job status, deadlines, and priority changes to customersMaintain vendor and supplier relationships; issue purchase orders and reconcile invoicesPerform accounts payable/receivable functions, billing, and basic bookkeeping (QuickBooks or similar)Prepare quotes, packing slips, shipping documents, and certificates of conformanceManage inventory records for customer partsMaintain employee records, assist with onboarding, and support HR administrative tasksEnsure compliance documentation is current (safety records, fire inspections, etc)Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and walk-in customers**Qualifications**5+ years of office management or administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment (familiarity with tolerances, materials, machining processes, blueprints / drawings)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with ERP or shop management softwareExperience with bookkeeping software (QuickBooks preferred) and basic accounting principlesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced shop environment; leaves desk clean at end of the dayExcellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with customers, vendors, and shop staffHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in business or related field preferred**Working Hours**Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM**Compensation**$28 – 33 Per HourPension plan / 401 KLife Insurance2 weeks PTO / sick leaveEnd of year bonusHeath insuranceVision planYou should be proficient in:Leadership / People ManagementBachelor's DegreeStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Machines & technologies you'll use:ERP SoftwareAccounting Software (Quickbooks) #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
