Growing together.Location: 4620 S Sam Houston Parkway Houston, TXSchedule: Monday through Friday 8-hours shifts between 7 AM and 7 PMPrimary Responsibilities:Assist with ordering, receiving, counting, and maintaining inventoryUnpack and ensure proper placement of received inventory according to storage and/or refrigeration requirementsAccurately gathers medications and supplies according to specifications of compounding recordLabel prepared compounded sterile productsAssist with cleaning of pharmacy prep area and sterile product complex, including required monthly clean of cleanroom environmentSanitizing prepare medications and supplies for entry into cleanroom environmentRestock pharmacy and cleanroom suppliesOrganize medication orders to prepare for productionPackage and label prepared medication orders, insuring drug related supplies, and education materials are includedPrepare and scan compounding record documentationEnter prescriptions from intake to order completion and verify member/patient dataContact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices as a liaison for the pharmacy teamCommunicate clearly and concisely via phone and electronic methods to patients, physicians, and other healthcare providersContact patients to complete refill assessments, request payment information, establish delivery details, and set up treatment in the Ambulatory Infusion Suite and/or other outpatient facilitiesAccess, input, and retrieve prescriptions and medical/lab information from computer systemVerify whether medication is reimbursable, and resolve rejected claimsProcess prescription refills and interpret supply needs as related to various therapiesResolve customer issues, ensuring accurate information is providedAble to multitask and channel communication from various business partners, driving patient centric quality careFollow all State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality code of ethicsWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
