Licensing Requirements: Series 65 or Series 66 required, with a minimum of three years of direct client-facing experience as a Financial Planner.
Position Summary
The Financial Planner Lead provides comprehensive financial and retirement planning services while building strong, long-term client relationships. This is primarily a non-sales role focused on financial analysis, client service, planning, and collaboration with Lead Advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients.
- Respond to client questions, requests, and follow-ups.
- Prepare comprehensive financial and retirement plans.
- Analyze investments, asset allocation, and financial data.
- Conduct client meetings and periodic financial reviews.
- Use tax-planning tools to evaluate strategies and scenarios.
- Prepare illustrations for annuities, life insurance, and long-term care.
- Complete financial analyses and planning projects as needed.
- Collaborate with advisors and team members on client cases.
- Maintain proactive communication and exceptional client service.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of financial planning experience with direct client interaction.
- Series 65 or Series 66 required.
- CFP designation preferred; must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
- Life Insurance license preferred; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong financial and retirement planning knowledge.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong client relationships.
