Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel HIGHLIGHTS: Experience: 2 years Required Certifications: RN: BLS Skills required cardiac gtts (Primacor, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine), heparin, lasix and insulin gtt. Chest tube, traches, telemetry reading, wound care Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other No block scheduling Overtime: None unless approved by manager Holiday Expectations: 1 summer and 1 winter ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Patient Ratios: RN: Days/PMs (0700-2330) - 1:4-5, Overnight (2300-0700) 1:6-8 Tech: Day - 1:6; Night - 1:7 Support on the Unit: Charge nurse, has 2-3 patients on days, full assignment on nights Unit secretary, 24/7 Hospitalist, 24/7 RT, 24/7 Centralized telemetry monitoring with tele tech Phlebotomy to assist with peripheral blood draws Orientation: at least one shift to learn flow Holiday Requirements: One per contract Must document pain level, before and after (1 hour for oral) giving pain medications - The pain score must also meet the pain score with nth medication order i.e. if a patient has a score of 8, the RN cannot give the Tylenol that is ordered for mild 1-3. The RN must call for an order if the patient wants Tylenol for the score of 8.
