Production Planner/Hot Mill Scheduler

Overview Steel Dynamics Create and Maintain Production Plan for the melt shop and rolling mills. Production planning for the melt shop and 2 rolling mills to meet production goals and customer demands. Position will work closely with sales, production, and quality to maintain production flow and on-time delivery. Scheduler must manage changing priorities, schedules, and customer demands with urgency and professionalism. This position plays a critical role in keeping production aligned with our customers expectations while supporting operational efficiencies. Responsibilities Create and maintain production plans for the melt shop and two rolling mills to meet production goals and customer demands. Plan production for the melt shop and two rolling mills to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with customer requirements. Collaborate with sales, production, and quality teams to maintain production flow and address changes in priorities. Manage changing priorities, schedules, and customer demands with urgency and professionalism. Support operational efficiencies and ensure production aligns with customer expectations.
