Overview Frontier Behavioral Health has served the Spokane community for more than 100 years, providing evidence‑based treatment to adults, youth, and seniors through a trauma‑informed care model that focuses on recovery and helping clients lead meaningful lives. Mobile Crisis Assessment and Treatment (MCAT) Team The MCAT team delivers crisis intervention and stabilization services for individuals 22 years of age and older. Priority referrals come from DCRs, PSHMC Psychiatric Triage, first responders, hospital emergency departments, and other professionals who assess risk for inpatient admission. The team also serves individuals with co‑occurring disorders who may be homeless or classified as Trueblood class members by the Health Care Authority. Shift Details Wednesday–Saturday, 12:00PM–10:30PM. An additional shift differential of 6.58% applies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure community services are provided by MCAT members, including creation and ongoing support of recovery plans, crisis and hospital diversion services, initial and follow‑up assessments, risk assessments, safety plans, referrals, and Medicaid assistance. Facilitate use of crisis hospital diversion resources, such as Stabilization and/or E&T admission. Maintain required data as specified in the SCRBH‑ASO Crisis Response Services Provider Guide. Obtain necessary training for team members to improve client engagement and reduce restrictive admissions. Provide weekly supervision to each assigned mobile crisis response member. Cover shifts as needed and participate in quality improvement projects. Represent the agency professionally, maintain customer service, and cultivate collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Maintain working relationships with courts, attorneys, psychiatrists, police, sheriff’s deputies, jail staff, clinical and administrative personnel at inpatient facilities, staff from other agencies, advocacy and consumer groups, and community members. Comply with all state WAC requirements and FBH policies and procedures. Perform charting, correspondence, Workday entries, and other paperwork promptly and accurately. Participate in peer review, supervision, educational, and administrative meetings as directed. Travel to community sites and between work locations using FBH or personal vehicles. Complete any other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Master’s degree in the behavioral sciences; two years of post‑master’s experience in crisis intervention and direct mental health treatment; a valid driver’s license with a motor vehicle screening and driving test; active DOH credential (LAAC, LMHCA, LICSWA, or LMFTA) within six months of hire; willingness to use a personal vehicle for work. Preferred: Active DOH licensure in Washington (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT) and a SupervisorII title; prior supervisory experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated supervisory and training skills in crisis service delivery. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a focus on confidentiality. Knowledge of Washington Administrative Codes and statutes related to crisis services. Ability to work cooperatively, independently, and creatively to achieve responsibilities. Positive, optimistic, and accepting attitude toward staff, clients, and the community. Sensitivity to culturally diverse populations and socioeconomically disadvantaged clients. Physical, Sensory & Environmental Requirements Client services both in‑office and throughout the community, including residences, group living settings, hospitals, shelters, streets, and other locations. Frequent travel, driving across city blocks, and navigating stairs, vehicles, and various terrains. Daily computer use; lifting 10–20lb; exposure to blood‑borne pathogens categoryIII. Pay SupervisorI – No Licensure: $36.57–$44.55 hourly, plus a 6.58% shift differential. SupervisorII – Licensure: $39.45–$48.06 hourly, plus a 6.58% shift differential.
