The Role

The Director of Business Development & Program Management will be highly experienced in driving business through every phase of the sales cycle, from developing and qualifying business opportunities, GOVT bringing opportunities successfully through the capture process including seeing contracts through execution, managing customer relationships through the life of the project, and ensuring follow-on success. 

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be self-directed, while collaborating closely with a diverse team of professionals. 

Responsibilities: 

• Successfully drive business development and sales process across a diverse set of opportunities, industries, and government and private sector clients. 
• Seek out and acquire new customers across a variety of disciplines 
• Work directly with customers to determine and define requirements and identify potential growth opportunities for Zoic Labs. 
• Provide meaningful contributions toward Business Development Strategy, Sales, and Proposal writing. 
• Develop sales demonstrations and presentations as needed for various client industries and recipients. 

Key Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of successful sales and/or business development focused experience. 
• Extensive customer relationship and networking experience 
• Sales background related to the following industries preferred: Private sector technology, Defense (DoD), Space Community, U.S. intelligence community, media. 
• Knowledge and experience with Government contracts and negotiations 
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technical subjects quickly, communicate effectively, and appreciate technical subtleties. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Technical proposal writing experience 
• Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully in an ambiguous environment with flexible infrastructure and process, with a positive attitude. 
• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, conference events and networking opportunities 

Desirable Qualifications (not required): 

• Experience managing software products with graphics and/or visualization related features.
• Knowledgeable of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR), North American Classification System (NAICS), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 
• Security clearance eligibility (see below for more info). 

Additional Info

• Candidates will need to be located in the U.S and able to successfully pass and obtain a DoD clearance.
• This is a remote (work-from-home position)
• Pay Range: 140k-160k DOE with bonus structure (The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position)
