Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech)

Location: Columbia, SC 29203
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12s
Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive adult echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Acquire high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Evaluate cardiac structures, function, and hemodynamics using ultrasound technology.
• Conduct vascular studies according to established protocols and standards.
• Document findings accurately in Epic and maintain complete patient records.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support quality patient care.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to department quality standards.

Requirements

• Registered in Vascular Technology (ARDMS-RVT or CCI-RVS) required.
• Registered in Echocardiography (ARDMS-AE, ARDMS-PE, and/or CCI-RCS) required.
• Dual certification in Echo and Vascular required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of Epic experience required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular imaging procedures.
• Excellent communication, technical, and patient care skills.
