Description UNC Boylan Healthcare at North Hills is seeking a full-time primary care physician, BC/BE in Family Medicine. With a focus on preventive health care, they detect and modify risk factors before they lead to serious illness in adults 18 and older. We offer a wide range of convenient on-site services, using the most advanced technology and equipment. They are recognized by the American Heart Association Heart/Stroke program and the American Diabetes Association Physician program. They have been caring for the people in our community for almost 50 years, building trusting relationships with their patients. Services Provide Include: ?Acute illness care ?Biopsies ?Bone density scans ?Cardiac stress testing ?Gynecology ?Immunizations ?IV therapy ?Laceration repair ?Management of chronic health conditions ?Medical acupuncture ?Mole, wart and skin lesion removal ?Physical exams ?Pulmonary function testing ?Nuclear treadmill testing ?Nutrition ?On-site x-rays ?On-site laboratory ?Ultrasounds ?ThermiSmooth and ThermiVa

Qualifications: ?Training from an accredited Family Medicine Program ?Board Certified or Board Eligible ?Active, unrestricted NC Medical License or the ability to obtain

Professional Experience Requirements:

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
? Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English. REASONING ABILITY High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Family Medicine. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach with hands and arms. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Reasoning Ability: High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
