Regional Sales Manager - Medical

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 Base + Bonus/Commission Employment Type: Full-Time | Field-Based This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to take ownership of an established customer base, develop long-term relationships with Eye Care Professionals and identify new business opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with Optometrists, Ophthalmologists and Opticians, using a consultative sales approach to understand their business needs and deliver solutions that support their commercial objectives. Manage and develop an established portfolio of customer accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Achieve quarterly sales targets through account management, consultative selling and new business development. Develop and execute strategic territory business plans to maximise sales performance and customer engagement. Conduct regular face-to-face customer meetings, product presentations and business reviews. Negotiate commercial agreements and develop long-term customer partnerships. Collaborate with internal teams and external business partners to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Monitor territory performance, analyse sales data and maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems. A minimum of 3 years of field-based B2B sales experience or 3 years of optical retail experience with responsibility for achieving sales targets. A proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets and developing customer accounts. Strong relationship-building, negotiation and consultative selling skills. Experience managing multiple customer accounts and identifying new business opportunities. The ability to work independently and take ownership of territory performance. Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory. Previous sales experience within optical, optometry, ophthalmology, vision care or a related healthcare market. An understanding of optical products and the commercial needs of eye care businesses. Previous territory management experience with responsibility for an established customer base and individual sales quota. A demonstrated history of sales achievement, career progression or industry recognition.
