Job Description Purchasing & Accounts Payable Assistant Location: Smyrna, GA Compensation: Up to $40,000 annually Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, paid time off, and other perks Overview: We are currently seeking a diligent Purchasing & Accounts Payable Assistant to join our dynamic team in Smyrna. - Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and purchasing necessary office supplies and equipment.
- Manage vendor communications, fostering strong relationships and ensuring terms and conditions are met.
- Maintain accurate financial records and data entry for all transactions in the accounts payable system.
- Ensure timely processing and payment of invoices, adhering to financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and manage inventory effectively.
- Resolve any discrepancies in billing and payments and provide support for financial audits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a proficiency in mathematics and finance.
- Experience with computer systems, including database management and financial software.
