Senior Accountant

We will be accepting applications through September 10, 2026 or until filled.--- --- ---The Gogo Senior Accountant is a key member of the Accounting team responsible for supporting an accurate and timely close process and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable reporting requirements. This role performs a broad range of accounting activities, with a strong focus on revenue recognition under ASC 606, cost of service accruals, monthly close support, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis.The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally to investigate variances, resolve discrepancies, and improve accounting processes.COME ON BOARD THE GOGO ACCOUNTING TEAM!How will you make a difference?Manage revenue recognition accounting for service and equipment revenue across domestic and international operationsPrepare, record, and maintain supporting documentation for journal entriesReconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate general ledger supportIdentify, investigate, and resolve account reconciliation discrepancies in a timely mannerPartner with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and support the accuracy and completeness of financial reportingSupport month-end and year-end close activities while meeting established deadlinesProvide guidance and review support for less experienced team members as neededAssist with internal and external audit requestsSupport accounting projects and ad hoc reporting and analysis as neededMaintain compliance with internal control and SOX requirementsQualifications3+ years of progressive accounting experienceBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; Accounting preferredCPA or similar professional certification preferredRequired Skills, Talents, & ExperienceExperience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; Microsoft Business Central experience is a plusStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with internal controlsAbility to research and apply accounting guidance relevant to the businessStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesIntermediate Excel skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Skills, Talents, & ExperienceHighly detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to manage changing priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentEqual Pay Disclosure(s)Base Pay:84,000.00 - 105,000.00 USD AnnualTarget Annual Short-Term Incentive:Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)Eligible for Incentive Stock Program:YesBenefits:Gogo offers competitive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage with plans that can fit each employee’s needs.
