Key Qualifications:

• Holds a valid Colorado Department of Education Special Services License with a School Counselor Endorsement
• Prior experience in schools as a Social Worker or School Psychologist is highly desirable
• Familiarity with or experience in Special Education (SPED) settings strongly preferred
• Comfortable serving students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with varying service minutes
• Able to fulfill time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including district contract packet completion before starting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver mental health support and social work services to high school students, focusing on those with affective and significant support needs
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop tailored interventions and support plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs in compliance with school and district expectations
• Contribute to IEP meetings, evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring as part of the special education team
• Serve as an on-site resource and advocate for student well-being throughout the school year
