Step into a vital role supporting high school students and making a meaningful impact as a dedicated Social Worker for an on-site contract position. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population in a collaborative school setting, focusing on mental health services as part of students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Service minutes and caseloads may vary depending on campus needs, and you’ll work with students with a range of needs, including mild to moderate, Affective Needs (AN), and Significant Support Needs (SSN).

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education Special Services License with School Counselor Endorsement
• Previous experience in a school environment, particularly with special education (SPED)
• Background supporting high school-aged youth
• Ability to manage varying caseloads and service minute allocations
• Experience providing mental health support in education settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must complete district-required contract paperwork prior to assignment start

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver social-emotional and mental health interventions to assigned students
• Participate in IEP meetings and develop individualized support strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and special education teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
• Offer crisis intervention and connect families with community resources as needed
• Cultivate a positive, supportive environment that fosters student growth

This position is full-time (37.5 hrs/week), starting as soon as possible and extending through late May. You’ll focus your efforts on a single high school campus, with exact school assignments to be determined.
