The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Kentwood that are seeking Maintenance Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Proficient in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Strong safety record and knowledge of OSHA regulations

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Certification in a specialized trade (e.g., welding, HVAC, electrical).
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior technicians.
• Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and preventative maintenance scheduling.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
