Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive psychotherapy services to students, which may include individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on addressing mental health concerns and emotional disturbances.

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based practices relevant to the developmental needs of pupils.

• Develop, implement, and monitor integrated care plans that ensure access to mental health services, collaborating with parents, teachers, and other providers to share vital information about care.

• Facilitate team meetings and participate in collaborative care efforts to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for students.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical guidelines and organizational standards.

• Contribute to crisis intervention efforts, providing immediate support and strategies for students experiencing emergencies or acute distress.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge pertinent to the latest trends in school-based mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse student population experiencing various mental health challenges, including major mental illnesses, severe emotional disorders, and situational stressors. By providing a culturally competent approach, LCSWs at Young Minds Counseling P.C. support students from numerous backgrounds, ensuring that every child receives the care and support essential for their success within the educational environment.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Young Minds Counseling P.C. offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
