Armed Security Officer - Patrol Unit Phoenix, AZ Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Wed 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM Fri 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM Sat 08:30 AM - 02:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, reporting concerns or irregularities through appropriate channels. Support cash handling, high-value asset movement, and other sensitive operations by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders, applicable laws, and Allied Universal standards. Minimum Requirements: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
