BayCare Fitness Center at HealthHub® (Carillon) is currently in search of our newest Personal Trainer who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.


Personal Trainer Position Details:

• Facility: BayCare Fitness Center Carillon
• Location: St Petersburg, FL
• Status: PRN (as needed), Hourly
• Shift Hours: Varies
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No

This 30,000-square-foot fitness facility features state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, spacious group fitness studios, an outdoor turf training area, personalized fitness programming, and expert support from certified fitness professionals. With a welcoming, community-focused environment and a commitment to helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals at every fitness level, BayCare Fitness Center provides a best-in-class experience for members and team members alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating personal training programs for customers, promoting personal training services, establishing personal training book of business and other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science

Credentials:

• Required to go through all department technology and methodology training and pass a skills test within 60 days of hire
• Preferred Professional Certifications include:
• NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine)
• ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association)
• NPTI (National Personal Training Institute)
• NCSF (National Council on Strength and Fitness)
• PTA Global ACE (American Council on Exercise)
• NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) - Personal Training
• ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine)
• Gray Institute FAFS Fellow of Applied Functional Science, or Gray Institute CAFS Certification in Applied Functional Science
