Room Attendant

Overview The role of the Room Attendant is to ensure 100% guest satisfaction by providing guests with a clean, comfortable and safe room. The Room Attendant should maintain cleanliness and presentation standards, support guests, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Responsibilities Clean assigned guest rooms or suites, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, arranging room furniture if required, and cleaning bathroom. Empty all trash containers and replace with fresh liners. Restock usable items in guest rooms or suites (soap, towels, amenities, paper items). Ensure removal and appropriate disposition of guest room trays, glass and silverware. Clean and vacuum exterior entry and hallways. Keep linen closets and supply areas clean and organized. Attend to guest laundry and dry‑cleaning orders promptly. Notify supervisor promptly of any special guestroom or suite issues, including reporting of any maintenance needs. Handle guest complaints or requests promptly, referring to supervisor if unable to handle. Secure all rooms or suites upon leaving. Provide guest service that exemplifies Radisson standards and genuine hospitality. Work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating teamwork and personal responsibility. Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year of hospitality experience in housekeeping. Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional guest service. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Capacity to clean multiple room types and meet the daily cleaning quota. Excellent communication and the ability to follow instructions. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical Demands Perform repetitive hand and arm movements; lift up to 50 pounds; pull or push up to 100 pounds; squat, bend, kneel and twist; stand for long periods. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
