The Substance Abuse & Mental Health Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work remotely while serving individuals in need at our Detox Center located in New Castle, Colorado. As an LCSW, you will engage directly with clients struggling with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, providing support and facilitating recovery in a culturally sensitive manner.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage directly with clients in both remote settings and through community outreach initiatives, delivering individual and group therapy tailored to their specific needs.

• Carry a caseload involving assessment, crisis intervention, and the development of individualized treatment plans that focus on client empowerment and improved outcomes.
\n
• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and assessments to determine the needs of clients and ensure the appropriate level of care.
\n
• Develop and implement comprehensive integrated care plans that consider the collaboration between clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
\n
• Maintain timely and accurate records and documentation as required by state and federal regulations, and submit reports reflecting client progress and program effectiveness.
\n
• Participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and training workshops to enhance service delivery and team cohesion.
\n
• Identify, prevent, and report any unsafe situations, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment for both clients and staff.
\n
• Provide on-call services during and after program hours as necessary to ensure ongoing support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population consists of individuals experiencing serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders, many of whom come from diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges related to their social and economic circumstances. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will leverage your expertise to understand and respect these differences while developing treatment approaches that are culturally responsive and effective.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience working as a licensed social worker, with a strong emphasis on mental health or substance use recovery.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado or eligibility to obtain licensure.

• Passion for working in under-served environments and commitment to the mission of improving community health.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in detox centers or similar mental health service environments is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
