divh2Construction Clerk/h2pThe construction administrative assistant supports all types of construction operations including but not limited to answering phones, day-to-day scheduling, data input, record keeping and administrative lead email review. The construction administrative assistant assists with activities and events which may require attendance at such events. The construction administrative assistant must display sound judgement and communication skills to deal with a variety of people, including Swyft Fiber coworkers, vendors, contractor groups and outside company representatives. This position handles sensitive and confidential information regularly, so diplomacy, tact, and discretion are essential skills./ppEssential Duties Responsibilities:/pulliReport to the administrative lead for daily updates, accomplishments and any issues requiring attention./liliTaking memos and communicating with administrative lead, coworkers and customers by but not limited to phone calls, slack and email./liliOrganizing and scheduling appointments and calendar events with company software./liliCoordinate team meetings and events and prepare agendas./liliCommunicate with contractors and vendors./liliPrepare confidential documents and reports./liliMaintain written and electronic files and perform data entry when required./liliMaintain administrative leads calendar./liliPreparing and proofreading correspondence, reports and other documents created by the administrative lead./liliPreparing and scheduling travel arrangements for administrative leads and other construction staff members./liliAttending meetings (when required)/liliAbility to screen and direct administrative leads phone calls./liliAbility to screen and direct administrative leads emails./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpJob Qualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./liliAssociate or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred./liliPrevious Administrative and/or Accounting Clerk experience required./li/ulpSkills:/pulliProficiency in Microsoft and Google applications. Examples: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive)./liliExcellent organizational and time-management skills./liliAttention to detail./liliStrong communication and interpersonal abilities./liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team./liliKeyboarding skills./liliAbility to anticipate needs, have a sense of urgency and be proactive./liliAbility to handle confidential matters./liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills./liliAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment./li/ulpPhysical Demands:/ppWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
