About the RoleIn this role, you will create best-in-class data science tools to power the next generation of data science applications at Kohl's, and explore how Machine Learning (ML) and AI can be applied to new use cases that aren’t well-suited for traditional CRM channel A/B testing.What You’ll DoUse AI/ML to explore new opportunities at Kohl’s, including causal models for promo-calendar decisions, gen-AI copilots for insight discovery and explainer models that break down year-over-year performance drivers like pricing, promotions and mediaGuide store performance driving tactics leveraging store performance explainer models (including labor optimization)Oversee the activation of tests, ensuring essential model runs, segmentation and timelines are provided to key stakeholdersEnsure relevant analytics assets and tests are documented and insights are capturedManage and influence direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals per Kohl’s policies and practicesProvide leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise and driving resultsCreate and promote an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communicationsDevelop staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plansInfluence, collaborate and partner with teams and leaders across the organizationAdditional tasks may be assignedWhat Skills You HaveRequiredBachelor’s Degree in quantitative areas such as Applied Mathematics, Data Science or a related field5+ years of relevant analytics experienceExperience coding in general-purpose languages (Python, R, SAS)Experience with developing and scaling predictive models and optimization algorithms for marketing use cases PreferredMBA and/or Master's or PhD in hard sciences, computer science, engineering or other applicable fieldJob SummaryJob number: R475788Profession: Marketing, eComm & Creative
