Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
The ICU RN provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment to stabilize and monitor patients with complex health conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions quickly and accurately to inform care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical status, adjusting care as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information and treatment progress in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, providing life-saving interventions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license prior to start.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU or Stepdown experience.
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications; NIHSS preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Be able to float between units and sister facilities within scope.
• Willingness to work 3x12 night shifts with holiday rotation.
