HVAC Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday

• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, and completing repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Essential Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Observe equipment in operation and identify mechanical or electrical issues.
• Disassemble machinery to inspect and replace worn or defective components.
• Inspect parts for wear, damage, and proper functionality.
• Adjust mechanical components and control systems for optimal performance.
• Install replacement and specialty parts as needed.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Test equipment after repairs to verify proper operation.
• Operate shop equipment, including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to fabricate or repair parts.
• Create purchase orders for maintenance parts and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in HVAC maintenance and industrial equipment repair required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and metalworking equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be dependable with a strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
