LPN - Multispecialty Office, Hudson NY

Overview Department/Unit: Niskayuna Multi‑Specialty. Work Shift: Day. Salary Range: $54,690.00 – $82,035.00. LPN – Full Time. Multi‑Specialty Office in Hudson, NY. We are seeking a motivated LPN to join a dedicated team of healthcare providers with a variety of specialties: ENT, OB/GYN, Vascular, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Addiction Medicine. The LPN will work under the direction of the attending physician, RN, Lead LPN or practice coordinator and provide direct patient care and assist with clinical functions for all providers. Responsibilities Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs. Document components of patient history. Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff. Participate in in‑office procedures under the direction of a licensed provider. Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing. Perform venipuncture for lab testing. Handle prescription call‑backs per scope of practice. Prep patient chart for pertinent clinical information. Maintain inventory of supplies and keep examination rooms stocked. Adhere to AMC regulatory compliance issues. Float to other sites as needed for clinical coverage. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Previous experience in a patient care setting preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present information and respond to questions from physicians, patients, families, or other employees. State licensure as an LPN upon hire required.
