Senior Accountant

IMMEDIATE NEED – SR. ACCOUNTANT

We are actively seeking a high-impact Sr. Accountant to step in and make an immediate difference within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a long-term contract (6-months) opportunity for someone who is highly detail-oriented , and with QuickBooks expertise .

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own the close process – Manage monthly and year-end close to ensure accuracy, completeness, and strict deadlines are met
• Drive core accounting operations – Prepare/post journal entries, maintain the GL, and resolve complex issues through analysis
• Reconciliation expert – Perform account, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations and quickly identify and fix variances
• Revenue recognition focus – Support WIP tracking and ASC 606 compliance within a regulated environment
• Audit readiness – Assist with incurred cost audit support , documentation, and financial validation
• Clear the backlog – Step in, take ownership, and help a busy team regain control of high-volume workflows
• Ensure compliance – Maintain accurate records while adhering to strict internal controls and contractor regulations
• Leverage systems – Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Office to analyze data and streamline reporting processes
