Job Description

Schedule: This PRN position is on a as needed basis; Rotating Saturdays mornings. During the week, both be available morning and evening shifts.

• Consistently performs the registration process through timely, accurate, and courteous completion of patient clinical and financial data.
• Works daily reports as assigned and trains in other Patient Access areas.
• Conducts charge audits using Health Information Management staff and Nurse Auditors to resolve issues.
• Demonstrates the importance of quality and integrity in capturing patient information while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Utilizes technology to verify and document insurance eligibility of patients accurately, efficiently, and timely according to established standards.

• Read/Comprehend written instructions [Required]
• Epic experience Preferred

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Field of Study: Technical/Vocational School

Work Experience:

• Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Windows XP, Windows 7, utilization of website search engines [Preferred]
• Office experience in a healthcare environment [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred]
• First Aid CPR AED (CPR AED) [Preferred]

Pay Range: $16.97 $27.15
