Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, order status, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Process sales orders, returns, credits, and other customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure timely resolution of customer requests.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns, providing prompt and effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within company systems.
• Monitor open orders, backorders, and shipment schedules to proactively communicate updates to customers.
• Support account management activities by developing strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Assist with special projects and administrative duties as assigned.
• Utilize Prophet 21 system for all order entries.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service, inside sales, order management, or related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience working with ERP, CRM, or order management systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial products, or technical sales environments.
• Understanding of sales order processing and supply chain operations.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and coordinate solutions across departments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
