For more than 20 years, Ridge Top has built its reputation one customer at a time, delivering exceptional roofing, siding, windows, and gutters throughout Wisconsin. Today, they're entering an exciting new chapter of growth and we're looking for a Controller to help lead it. This isn't just a reporting role. We're looking for someone who enjoys building strong accounting processes, partnering with operations, and helping leadership make informed business decisions. Someone who wants a seat at the table and not just a seat behind a spreadsheet. This is a full‑time in‑office position located at 4620 Dovetail Dr, Madison, WI 53704. What you'll do: Lead the monthly and annual close process Own the general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reporting Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and cash management Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability Strengthen accounting processes and internal controls Coordinate audits and tax preparation Assist in a future system migration What we're looking for: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience with full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP Construction accounting experience is a plus Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred but not required Why Join Ridge Top?
