WHAT THIS ROLE IS DESIGNED FOR AND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR A.S. or B.S. Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering graduates Early-career engineers (0–3 years’ experience) Technically curious individuals who enjoy troubleshooting and customer interaction Engineers who want structured learning and real-world impact You don’t need years of semiconductor experience. You do need strong fundamentals, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals Professional communication skills Flexibility for travel (as needed) and schedule adjustments WHAT YOU’LL DO Perform preventive maintenance on advanced semiconductor equipment Assist in troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities Follow KSEC and customer safety protocols at all times Support equipment installation or removal as required Complete documentation and administrative reporting accurately Provide feedback to technical support and engineering teamsMaintain professional, customer-facing behavior YOUR DEVELOPMENT PATH Phase 1 – Structured Training: classroom instructionand on-the-job training (OJT) including: Safety protocols and cleanroom fundamentals Preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) fundamentals Basic system diagnostics and documentation usage Exposure to KSEC administrative systems and technical databases Phase 2 – Guided Customer Support Perform preventive maintenance with supervision Assist with corrective maintenance and basic troubleshooting Learn tool architecture and subsystem functions Begin direct interaction with customer engineering teams Phase 3 – Expanding Technical Scope Support multiple customer tool sets Perform independent maintenance tasks Develop diagnostic confidence Act as a professional liaison between customers and internal support teams COMPENSATION The pay offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. (Range $70.7K - $93.6K). In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
