Job Title : Scientist II Location : South San Franisco, CA 94080 Schedule : M-F 9am-5pm Duration : 1 year contract w/ a possible extension Interview Process : phone screen in person panel
SKILLS :
Strong experience with mammalian cell culture techniques and maintaining high-quality cell lines. Hands‑on expertise in CRISPR genome editing, including gene editing design, execution, and optimization. Expertise in engineering and profiling cancer cell lines, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and primary cells. Strong background in molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA/protein extraction, molecular cloning, PCR, RT-PCR, and ddPCR. Experience with cell characterization methods such as flow cytometry (FACS), cell‑based assays, genomics assays, and NGS technologies. Familiarity with protein analysis techniques including SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting (Western blot). Proficiency with scientific data analysis and visualization tools such as Benchling, SnapGene, FlowJo, and GraphPad Prism.
