Job Description HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Give direction and supervise the production operations to assure adherence to safety, quality, delivery, schedule and cost requirements. Direct scope includes assemblers; provides leadership and general direction for Maintenance and Process Technicians and Material Handlers on assigned shift. Adheres and executes shop floor management systems. Responsibilities Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities. Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests. Creates and revises procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change. Environment Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as safety toe shoes, safety vests, gloves at applicable locations and any other station determined PPE. The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided. Qualifications What you bring to the role 2 or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
