REPORTS TO: Assistant Controller

COMPENSATION: $65,000- 80,000

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and compliance activities. This role is ideal for an experienced junior-level accounting professional looking to further develop their skills within a structured and collaborative accounting environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performbank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy andtimelyresolution of discrepancies
• Completeaccuratedata entryrelated to financial transactions and accounting records
• Assistwithcompliance filingsin accordance withregulatory and internal requirements
• Prepare and filesales tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
• Review andassistwith theapproval of promotional accruals, ensuring proper documentation and proper accounting treatment
• Support general accounting functions andassistwith special projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Accountingrequired
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communicationand teamwork skills
• SAP experience preferred
