REPORTS TO: Assistant Controller

COMPENSATION: $65,000- 80,000

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and compliance activities. This role is ideal for an experienced junior-level accounting professional looking to further develop their skills within a structured and collaborative accounting environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Performbank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy andtimelyresolution of discrepancies
Completeaccuratedata entryrelated to financial transactions and accounting records
Assistwithcompliance filingsin accordance withregulatory and internal requirements
Prepare and filesales tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
Review andassistwith theapproval of promotional accruals, ensuring proper documentation and proper accounting treatment
Support general accounting functions andassistwith special projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Accountingrequired
Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communicationand teamwork skills
SAP experience preferred

To successfully perform the duties of this job, the person is regularly required to sit, stand and walk. Lifting of product cases may also be required.
