Assistant/Associate Professor - Pharmacy Practice

Position Description The Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy operates across four campuses—Amarillo, Abilene, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Lubbock—and is nationally recognized for its practice-based education and interprofessional training. Major/Essential Functions The successful candidate will contribute to a wide range of teaching activities: Didactic, laboratory, case/simulation-based. Experiential instruction within our innovative Pharm.D. curriculum. Clinical practice responsibilities (approximately 50% time) focusing on adult acute care, including patient care and experiential teaching at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center and the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. This is a 12‑month appointment. The faculty member will practice part‑time, providing: Inpatient adult medicine clinical pharmacy services. Teaching and clinical responsibilities. Engage in scholarship and service consistent with departmental and school goals. Pay Statement Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website at Required Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY2 residency in adult medicine, internal medicine, or equivalent experience. Eligibility for Texas pharmacist licensure.
