Entry-Level Sales: Recruiter/Account Manager

RECRUITER The Recruiter role serves as the foundation for a successful sales career. Responsibilities include reviewing resumes from internal databases and online job boards, conducting phone interviews, preparing candidates for hiring manager meetings, and negotiating job offers. Average tenure in this role is six months, after which employees pursue either Account Manager Training (AMT) or Professional Recruiter Training (PRT) to advance. ACCOUNT MANAGER Account Managers act as the primary contact with hiring managers at Fortune 1,000 companies. They research and target organizations, initiate contact through networking and cold calls, build long‑term client relationships, and manage in‑person meetings and lunches to understand hiring goals. Account Managers collaborate with the Recruiting team to secure suitable candidates and ultimately sell our staffing services, not products. PROFESSIONAL RECRUITER Professional Recruiters are experts in talent acquisition, focusing on matching job seekers with client opportunities. They assess career aspirations, pair candidates with appropriate roles, and provide ongoing support to ensure a world‑class experience. Last year they accounted for over 80 % of all job placements. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Insight Global offers a competitive base salary ranging from $38,000 to $68,640 annually, depending on location, plus a $5,000 long‑term incentive (LTI) awarded on the one‑year anniversary. Upon promotion, Account Managers receive a base salary increase and up to $5,400 annually in commission, a corporate cell phone, and uncapped weekly commission. The average employee earnings over time are: Year2: $73,000–$88,000 Year3: $121,000–$145,000 Year4: $135,000–$194,000 Account Managers and Professional Recruiters may win annual contests that include all‑expenses paid trips, LTI payouts, and cash bonuses ranging from $7,500 to $10,000.
