Service Plumber

$26-$40 DOE

Job Description: As a Service, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and piping infrastructure in various residential and commercial settings. Your role will involve working with a wide range of plumbing and piping materials, including pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures. Key responsibilities include:

Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems according to codes and standards
Cutting, bending, and threading pipes using appropriate tools and techniques
Assembling and installing pipes, fittings, and fixtures
Testing plumbing systems for leaks and ensuring proper functionality
Collaborating with clients and project teams to meet project requirements
Troubleshooting and diagnosing plumbing and piping issues
Repairing or replacing defective parts and components
Conducting routine maintenance and inspections
Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Plumber and Pipefitter
Valid plumbing and/or pipefitting license or certification
Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, piping materials, and industry practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Proficiency in cutting, bending, and threading pipes
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Physical ability to perform plumbing and pipefitting tasks, including lifting and working in confined space
