This position shall provide a safe, clean environment for visitors, faculty, staff, and students. This position will assist with snow removal and landscaping duties and may also perform delivery/receiving operations on campus and assist the mail room as necessary. This position shall assist in the safety, security, maintenance, and operations of Rochester Community and Technical College to ensure the College operates in a clean, safe and secure environment. **Salary Range:**$20.51-$29.22**Minimum Qualifications:**Knowledge of:* Different types of flooring/floor covering sufficient to determine proper methods of maintenance and appropriate cleaning methods, materials, agents and equipment.* Chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, bleaches, scouring agents and soaps sufficient to appropriately select the agent(s), handle and apply, and dispose of safely.* Methods, tools, and equipment used in maintenance sufficient to use effectively and operate safely and to make minor repairs.Ability to:* Follow oral and written instructions.* Perform assigned tasks with limited work direction.* Keep adequate records.Physical health and endurance sufficient to perform work functions:* Ability to perform work functions using ladders, scaffolding, etc.* Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. regularly and 30-50 lbs. on occasion (with assistance as available).* Capable of frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling and repetitive activities such as standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, carrying, pushing and pulling.**Preferred Qualification:*** Ability to use hand tools* Good human relations’ skills, work habits, and self-motivation* Valid Driver’s License**Work Shift (Hours / Days of work):**Tuesday-Saturday 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.**Telework (Yes/No)**No**About:**RCTC is a member of Minnesota State- a higher education system that includes 24 two-year community and technical colleges and seven state universities serving more than 430,000 students.
