Job Responsibilities Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences. Create and maintain an environment that fosters student achievement and the development of lifelong skills. Maximize opportunities for student success by creating positive working relationships with students. Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment. Show confidence in working with new technology and various application packages. Be a role model for students regarding lifelong learning and professional behavior. Work in a collaborative environment and be willing to learn new skills or revamp curriculum. Be flexible, resourceful, and innovative, effectively managing the design and execution of learning experiences responsive to student needs. Observe and evaluate student performance and development; encourage and monitor individual progress. Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignments, providing appropriate feedback. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, squat and lift up to 50 pounds while assisting students. Assume additional responsibilities as determined by the supervising administrator.
