Human Resources Representative

Human Resources Representative Location: Los Angeles, CA Job Id: 326 # of Openings: 50 Job Number: 162 Salary: $19.45 Department: Human Resources/Payroll DAYS/HOURS: During academic year approximately 10 hrs/wk Mon‑Fri 9:30am‑5pm. Must be able to commit to 15 hrs/wk for summer 2026. DUTIES Assist in the administration and maintenance of various Human Resources processes. Conduct daily new hire orientations. Perform data entry across various Human Resources systems. Manage documents and personnel files. Serve as the front desk receptionist for the Human Resources department. Participate in projects and systems including Administration of Employment Eligibility Compliance; ASUCLA Work Study Program; Fingerprint Background Verifications; DMV Pull Notice System; Non‑Resident Alien Tax Compliance. REQUIREMENTS Must be available to work 15 hours per week during summer 2026 (June-September). Must be a UCLA student available to work approximately 10 hours a week from Monday‑Friday during the school year. Spanish language proficiency preferred but not required. Experience in a Human Resources office or with Microsoft Office software preferred but not required. Resourceful, excellent communicator, attention to detail, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
