Personal Training Director

Job Overview The Personal Training Director leads the Personal Training department at a Crunch Facility, ensuring an exceptional fitness experience for all members and clients. The PTD upholds company standards, models behavior, hires and develops a strong team, and drives revenue and member retention. Responsibilities Staffing and Development Maintain a fully engaged, high‑performing fitness team aligned with company values. Hire, develop, and manage performance of qualified Personal Trainers. Train and develop membership and other staff on fitness and supplementation presentations to support membership retention. Conduct weekly meetings with direct reports to review performance, offer direction, motivation, and career growth opportunities. Manage the Personal Trainer schedule, ensuring adherence to budgeted non‑session hours. Mediates club employee relations matters for all club fitness employees. Discipline staff under the guidance of direct supervisor. Fitness Management Ensure all Personal Trainers deliver high‑quality programs to their clients. Develop weekly work schedules for fitness staff and ensure accurate Time & Labor recording. Ensure staff comply with Time and Labor guidelines, managing overtime per company guidelines. Provide member service and support related to fitness servicing issues. Encourage member participation in fitness services. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue objectives for Fitness services and Supplements. Hire, train, and develop new Personal Trainers. Provide regular training on industry updates and best practices. Sales and Service Knowledge of Crunch Certified Fitness Program and related software (dotFIT, ABC/Datatrak, Crunch‑U, VFP, Styku). Proficiency in adjusting and operating all club equipment. Experience coaching and motivating groups. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude. Strong member service focus. Professional response to guest, member, and staff inquiries. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED). Minimum 18 years of age. Eligible to work in the United States and maintain eligibility throughout employment. Salary Salary : $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. Employment Type Full‑time.
