SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Financial Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a plastic manufacturing business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

THE COMPANY:

  • Business Model: Manufacturing
  • Revenue Range: Lower Middle Market
  • Hold Period: 2 Years.
  • Deal Structure: Control buyout

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale.

  • Integrate and rebrand the acquisitions made under this holding company
  • Transform this entrepreneurially led company into a powerful platform business
  • Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, financial and business plans, providing analysis, insights, and specific guidance to the Board of Directors.

THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include manufacturing, distribution, and industrial businesses

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

  • Business Model: Manufacturing
  • Functional: Top financial leader of a $25mm-100mm PE backed manufacturing company OR number two financial leader within a larger PE backed manufacturing business.
  • Orientation: Well-rounded finance experience is required with a strong accounting background.
  • Tenure: 15-25+ years of progressive career success
