Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LCSW at Covenant Wellness Therapeutic Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments for patients upon admission, crafting personalized treatment plans that address their unique mental health concerns using evidence-based methodologies.

• Delivering therapeutic interventions utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet individual patient needs.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that patient records are updated and accessible to promote effective treatment.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to develop cohesive treatment strategies that enhance patient outcomes and recovery.

• Participating in regular case consultations and peer reviews to continuously improve care quality, share knowledge, and strengthen team collaboration.

• Educating patients and their families about mental health issues, community resources, and treatment options, empowering them with knowledge to facilitate their recovery journeys.

• Staying informed on the latest research and developments in mental health to integrate new practices into your clinical care and contribute to the clinic's innovative approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your ability to connect with patients from various backgrounds will be vital in providing personalized and culturally competent care that meets their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
\n
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience post-licensure in providing clinical social work services.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing effective treatment plans.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from diverse populations.

• A commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical clinical practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and tools, as well as an understanding of the detoxification process, will be advantageous for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
